Levent Altinay
Professor Levent Altinay, Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship, is the Editor-in-Chief of the Service Industries Journal.
Altinay was a member of the Business and Management Panel in Research Excellence Framework, Year 2021, in the UK. He was also a panel member of the Business & Economics Panel in Research Assessment Exercise (RAE) Years 2014 and 2020 in Hong Kong. He sits on the editorial boards of more than twelve journals including Journal of Business Research, Tourism Management, International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management and Journal of Services Marketing. Altinay has a strong record of attracting blue chip external funding, including funding from the ESRC (Economic and Social Research Council), British Council, Newton, European Union and the British Academy. Altinay has co-authored strategic management, entrepreneurship and research methods textbooks.
Catherine Prentice
Professor Catherine Prentice is a Professor of Marketing, Head of Marketing Discipline, University of Southern Queensland, Australia, the director of Asia Pacific Association for Gambling Studies and a founding committee of New Silk Road World Forum.
She has published several books and more than 100 journal articles in top-tier marketing and management journals. Her main research interests include artificial intelligence, emotional intelligence, service research, consumer psychology, consumer behaviours, branding, services and relationship marketing, tourism, hospitality and gambling studies. Catherine is ranked as the leading researcher in Marketing and Strategic Management in Australia. She currently serves as a Regional Editor of International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management; Associate editor of Service Industries Journal, Journal of Hospitality and Marketing Management, Tourism Review, and Journal of Global Scholars of Marketing Science and an editorial member of over a dozen of Q1 journals. Prior to her academic career, Catherine was an entrepreneur owning multiple businesses and consulting firms as well as a senior corporate executive at one of the largest corporations in Asia Pacific.
