Welcome to THI2024!

The 27th biennial International Congress Tourism & Hospitality Industry hosted by the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management, University of Rijeka, will take place in Opatija from 6 to 7 June 2024.

THI2024 is a multidisciplinary congress with a long tradition of bringing together policy makers, industry and academics to lay the foundations and find innovative solutions for the development of tourism. The aim is to foster collaboration between the academic and tourism communities to improve the attractiveness of the tourism and hospitality business.

The working title of our congress covers a wide range of aspects that will be discussed: TRENDS AND CHALLENGES.

We invite scientists and researchers to share their newest research, results and ideas with us and their fellow researchers and practitioners. Accepted papers will be published in the congress proceedings. Previous conference proceedings have been successfully indexed/referenced in: Web of Science - Conference Proceedings Citation Index – Social Science & Humanities (CPCI-SSH) 2018-2020, ProQuest - Business Premium Collection, ABI/INFORM Collection, ABI/INFORM Global, ProQuest Central, ProQuest Central Basic (Korea), East Europe, Central Europe Database, ABI/INFORM Professional Advanced, ABI/INFORM Professional Advanced for Resellers, ABI/INFORM Professional Standard, EBSCO, EconLit – Journal of Economic Literature under the Annotated Listings of New Books. We are currently waiting for the results of THI 2022 Evaluation for Web of Science - Conference Proceedings Citation Index – Social Science & Humanities (CPCI-SSH)“.
